KISS - Creatures Of The Night (Promo 1982)
Happy 40th Anniversary to the KISS album Creatures of the Night. One of KISS' more famous and interesting albums in KISS' discography. Creatures would be the last under KISS' original label Casablanca Records while also paying tribute to Casablanca founder Neil Bogart who passed away around that time. It would be the final KISS album with make up until Psycho Circus in 1998. Perhaps the most famous note is despite appearing on the cover, guitarist Ace Frehley does not play a note on the album as he was on his way out at the time and only did promotional work. As a result, most of the guitar work was done by his eventual successor Vinnie Vincent while future Mr. Mister guitarist Steve Farris and blues guitarist Robben Ford also contributed to different songs.

Dr. No (1962) title sequence
Happy 60th Anniversary to James Bond film Dr. No and the James Bond movie series. Interesting note. In the gun barrel sequence, James Bond was actually played by stuntman Bob Simmons. Sean Connery didn't do the sequence until the fourth film Thunderball. Not sure why.

PRIDE FC opening theme music
Happy 25th Anniversary to one of the greatest Mixed Martial Arts promotions of all time: PRIDE Fighting Championships. Sadly, it was bought out by the UFC in 2007 but as they say, PRIDE never die.

What a Horrible Night for a Look Back At Castlevania II: Simon's Quest 35 Years Later
What a Horrible Night for a Look Back At Castlevania II: Simon's Quest 35 Years Later

By Ryan Porzl
In 1986, the world was introduced to Castlevania which told the story of vampire hunter Simon Belmont as he ventured into Castlevania in order to slay Count Dracula. With it's critical and commerical success, a sequel was bound to happen and fans wouldn't have to wait. In 1987, the world was introduced to Castlevania II: Simon's Quest which continued the adventure of Simon Belmont as he must travel through Transylvania in order to once again defeat Dracula and lift a curse. Since it's release, the game has had both it's share of support and criticism but is a memorable addition to the series. With the 25th Anniversary having come in August, we'll take a look at the continuation of Simon Belmont and his second quest. This article does contain spoilers.
