Just recently I did an article looking at the wrestler's who had a bad 1996. That means it's time to look at those with better luck. As mentioned, 1996 wasn't the best year for WWF as it was considered an improvement from 95 but still struggled with a powerful rival in WCW breathing down their necks. Despite this, many in the WWF were able to take a year where the Federation struggled and made it a good to great year for them. Some began rises to the top, others would peak, one legend would see a much needed comeback, and another legend would finally reach the top of the mountain. Here, we'll take a look at ten wrestlers/teams who had a good to great 1996.

In my last article, I talked about 1995 and how miserable it was especially for the WWF. In many ways, it was the worst year the WWF had in the 1990s and many wrestlers had a terrible year. However, despite 1995 being a nightmare for many, did anyone salvage the year and have a good one? Well, surprisingly, yes. In fact, I've been able to find some names of talent who actually not only had a good year but some would see 1995 as the year they took that next step and for two guys, it was easily the best and biggest year of their careers. In this article, we'll look at the fortunate ones in an unfortunate year for many.

Back in July, I wrote an article of WWF wrestlers who had a bad 1998. However, 1998 wasn't a bad year for everyone in the Federation. Not only was 1998 a great year for the WWF, but many of their superstars had a great 1998 with some having memorable moments, others had big returns, and other rose to the next level. In this article, we'll look at ten WWF wrestlers who had a good or great 1998.
