90th Birthday of Leonard Nimoy

 Today would've been the 90th birthday of Leonard Nimoy who will obviously be forever known as Mr. Spock in the Star Trek franchise and was great. He also was great as the original voice of Master Xehanort in the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Nimoy passed away in 2015 due to COPD.

I know this will fly over most of my friends and families heads but I thought about it awhile back. In politics, there has been controversy surrounding Dominion or Dominion Voting Systems. I wonder how many Trekkies, especially Deep Space Nine fans, see this controversy and say "Dominion? We're not supposed to go to war with them for another 300 years."

The Wit and Wisdom of Montgomery Scott

Off by a day but yesterday would've been the 100th Birthday of actor James Doohan who played Scotty on Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Animated Series, the first seven films, and a guest appearance on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Doohan passed away in 2005 at the age of 85.

Dr. McCoy - I'm a Doctor not a...

Off by two weeks but January 20th was the 100th Birthday to DeForest Kelley who played Dr. McCoy in the Original Star Trek, Star Trek: The Animated Series, and the first six Star Trek movies. Kelley passed away in 1999 at 79 making him the first of the Original Series cast to pass.
