By Ryan Porzl

On May 21, 2011, Ring of Honor announced that Sinclair Broadcasting Group, an American Telecommunications Company, had bought the company. Following the announcement, many from ROH personal to fans had high hopes that this is what ROH needed to take them to the next level with many believing they would overtake TNA as the #2 promotion in America. Now five years later, not only has that not happened but the company has arguably gotten worse. So what went wrong? Why hasn't ROH made the growth people hoped they would've?

Kiss - God Gave Rock And Roll To You II - Music Video 1991

The music video for God Gave Rock And Roll To You II. Featured drummer Eric Carr in his last contribution before his passing.

Bill

Happy 25th anniversary to the KISS song God Gave Rock n' Roll To You II which is one of the classic KISS songs. Originally a remake of a Russ Ballard song, it was co-written by Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and Bob Ezrin with Ballard getting a co-writing credit. It originally appeared as a single and the end credits for the movie Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and later on KISS' Revenge album. The song would be the first song recorded by current drummer Eric Singer and the final song to feature second drummer Eric Carr as he sang back up vocals before passing away in November 1991 due to cancer. There's technically two versions of the song with the movie version featuring a bad ass guitar intro from Steve Vai.

Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer

Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead Or Alive

Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name

Happy 30th Anniversary to Bon Jovi's breakout album: Slippery When Wet. Although, I'm not a big Bon Jovi (though I don't know why since their music is right up my alley). The album features many signature songs including You Give Love A Bad Name, Livin' On A Prayer, Raise Your Hands, I'd Die For You, and Dead or Alive. The album was also the first to feature songwriting from the brilliant, legendary songwriter and producer Desmond Child who co-wrote You Give Love A Bad Name, Livin' On A Prayer, I'd Die For You, and would later co-write Bad Medicine and Born To Be My Baby for the follow up New Jersey. The album was also the first to be produced by legendary producer Bruce Fairbairn who later produced the follow up New Jersey.

Vinnie Vincent Invasion - Invasion

This song features one of my favorite guitar solos as I love the shredding style. Fleischman's vocals are also powerful.

Vinnie Vincent Invasion - Back On The Streets

Boyz Are Gonna Rock (2003 Digital Remaster)

Happy 30th anniversary to the self titled Vinnie Vincent Invasion album which is one of the great rock albums. Vinnie Vincent Invasion was fronted by former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent who is unquestionably one of the most underrated guitarist of all time. Shame his career never went anywhere and became a recluse because he should be known as one of the greatest guitarist. Outside of his work with KISS and VVI, Vincent also worked as a staff songwriter for Happy Days and Joanie Loves Chachi. The band also featured future Slaughter bassist and co-founder Dana Strum who also gained fame for introducing Randy Rhoads to Ozzy Osbourne and then discovering Jake E. Lee for Osbourne. Future Nitro and Nelson drummer Bobby Rock was the drummer and Robert Fleischmann was the vocalist having previously worked for Journey from June-November 1977 but did no albums.
