Some Christmas songs are bizarre. With "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year", people have brought up the lyrics of "scary ghost stories" and I agree. Who tells "scary ghost stories" on Christmas? That's Halloween. Even then, I don't know how many toast marshmellows like their camping. You're more likely to bake cookies. Also "tales of the glories of Christmas' long long ago". Who talks about the glories of Christmas' long long ago and what glories are these? What are we, Klingons turning our achievements to songs for future generations to sing?
Then there's "the Twelve Days of Christmas". Why twelve? Christmas isn't Hanukkah plus 4 days.
"Winter Wonderland" talks about "conspiring" as we dream by a fire. "Conspiring"? Nice choice of words. Why would we name a snowman "Parson Brown"? Who's Parson Brown and why would he ask if we're married?
