Great first appearance. Such a testament to Michael Keaton's talent as he was mostly a comedic actor but showed here there were no fun and games. Amazing how he went from someone people were dreading as Batman to one of the best.
A blog about my interests. Namely wrestling and MMA along with other stuff like video games and music.

Batman Soundtrack - 01. The Batman Theme
Happy 30th Anniversary to the classic Batman or Batman '89. To me, the Tim Burton, Michael Keaton, and Danny Elfman Batmans are the best. Also, I wish someone could explain why Elfman never got Oscar nominations for the soundtracks.

Erase the Slate
Off by three days but happy 20th anniversary to the Dokken album Erase the Slate, the first not to feature original guitarist George Lynch, the only one with Winger guitarist Reb Beach, and the last to feature bassist Jeff Pilson before his departure.

Look at the 2019 ZERO1 Fire Festival and the Participants

By Ryan Porzl
Back in April, I looked at the participants for All Japan's top tournament the Champion Carnival so now I figure I do the same for Pro Wrestling ZERO1's top tournament the Fire Festival. The Fire Festival is like most Japanese tournaments in that it's round robin with one or two blocks of wrestlers battling it out and the top two meet in the finals to decide the winner. The prize for winning the Fire Festival is the Fire Sword, a red katana that the winner holds on to for a year until the next tournament. Unlike most of these tournaments, the winner isn't guaranteed a world heavyweight championship shot as some received one but some have not while others were reigning champion.

LICENCE TO KILL HIGH DEFINITION
Happy belated 30th Anniversary to Licence To Kill, the 16th official James Bond which premiered on June 13th. One of the greatest Bonds of all time, it also proved to be the end of an era in many ways. The film marked Timothy Dalton's second and (sadly) final outing as James Bond while being the last to feature Robert Brown as M after four movies and Caroline Bliss as Miss Moneypenny.
