LICENCE TO KILL HIGH DEFINITION

Happy belated 30th Anniversary to Licence To Kill, the 16th official James Bond which premiered on June 13th. One of the greatest Bonds of all time, it also proved to be the end of an era in many ways. The film marked Timothy Dalton's second and (sadly) final outing as James Bond while being the last to feature Robert Brown as M after four movies and Caroline Bliss as Miss Moneypenny.
It also marked the last to feature screenwriter Richard Maibaum who co-wrote 13 of the then 16 Bond movies (he passed away in 1991), title designer Maurice Binder who designed 14 of the 16 films while his gunbarrel was used for From Russia With Love and Goldfinger despite him not being in it (he also passed away in 1991), director John Glen who directed all the 1980s Eon Bond films which gives him the record for most Bond's directed all together and in a row (both 5), editor John Glover, cinematographer Alec Mills, and to an extent, boss and producer Albert R. "Cubby" Broccoli who had limited involvement in Goldeneye due to poor health.
Licence To Kill features the last Bond film to date released during the summer, Benicio Del Toro holds the record for youngest Bond villain at 22, and it would be the last film for six years due to legal reasons which, to this day, is the longest gap between Bond films.
