Guns N' Roses - Estranged

Not only a great song but I like the music video even though it's cheesy. Like I said years ago, I love the concert footage because the song sound sad at times and the footage is from their June 26, 1993 concert in Germany which was the last time this song was not only played on the Use Your Illusion tour but the 2+ year tour ended a month later on July 17, 1993 and I remember the band saying they never wanted the tour to end because they knew when it did, the band was over. In a way, knowing when the footage takes place and the sound of the song, it feels like the end was near.

Guns N' Roses - Yesterdays

Guns N' Roses - November Rain

One of the greatest songs/ballads of all time. As mentioned, the music video was inspired by the short story "Without You" which was written by GnR's road manager and Axl's good friend Del James. James later added it to his book of short stories called The Language of Fear which Axl wrote the forward to.

Guns N' Roses - Don't Cry

Happy 30th Anniversary to Guns N' Roses two albums Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II. Like I pointed out years ago, lot of interesting notes on this music video as it was shot after Izzy Stradlin left but before Gilby Clarke was hired. The tombstone spot is incredibly ironic as it says Axl lived to be 28 years old and while thankfully he and the other band members lived beyond that, the same couldn't be said for guest vocalist Shannon Hoon (who appears in the video) as he passed away of an overdose at 28 in 1995.

Happy 25th Anniversary to the Guns n' Roses albums Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II which were released on this day in America in 1991 while being released a day earlier in the UK. The album was a rare case of a band releasing two studio albums the same day and I believe was the first where they went to the top 2 positions (Ironically I went to #2 while II went to #1). The albums were the first to feature drummer Matt Sorum (Steven Adler did drum on Civil War before being fired after reportedly needing 70 times to do the album due to his drug addictions), long time keyboardist DIzzy Reed (who has been the only one of the band never to have left and remained through it all), and the last to feature Izzy due to him leaving in November 1991. Guest artists included Alice Cooper and Blind Melon's Shannon Hoon. The double album, of course, proved to be the last album of original material until 2008's Chinese Democracy.
