Happy 60th Birthday to Sean Bean who played former 006 agent turned villain in the 1995 James Bond film Alec Trevelyan (one of the best Bond Villains), Boromir in the Lord of the Rings movies, and Ned Stark in Game of Thrones. He's also perhaps best known for those Boromir "One Does Not Simply" memes.
I guess now is as good a time as any but fuck Game of Thrones for casting him as Ned Stark only to kill him off in only nine episodes. Sure, he could've done more with Bond but Bond villains are mostly one and done. Yeah, Boromir was killed off in the first LOTR but at least he appeared in the other two films via flashbacks and hallucinations and the LOTR films are 3 hours each.
