MMA Fights To Look Forward To In November 2016
October 27, 2016
By Ryan Porzl
A few years ago, I wrote about looking at the MMA world every month and having wanted to do something like this for a while, I decided to try and showcase the fights that fans should look forward to during the month. For now, I'll look at most of the top MMA companies like UFC, Bellator, WSOF, ONE, and Rizin since I'm most familiar with them.
A blog about my interests. Namely wrestling and MMA along with other stuff like video games and music.

Oh yeah, going back to The Rock n' Roll Hall of Assholes (Credit goes to Eddie Trunk). I love how they are so picky with the musicians. For the most part, they usually want to just put the originals in as if the originals are the only ones who made any sort of contribution. There are few times when they pick one of two later members like Matt Sorum with Guns n' Roses but that's it. Nice to see that no matter how much you contribute to a band whether it be touring, songwriter, and playing on an album, you likely don't mean shit. My favorite example of this cherry picking bullshit is Black Sabbath as they only put the originals in. Really? No Ronnie James Dio, Vinnie Appice, Ian Gillian (who has since gone in as part of Deep Purple), Glenn Hughes, Bob Daisley, Eric Singer, Ray Gillian, Tony Martin, and Cozy Powell? Nice to see these legends get snubbed.
I fucking hate the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. Just read the potential nominees. Tupac? He was a fucking rapper. Janet Jackson? Meanwhile, No Blue Oyster Cult, Ozzy Osbourne as a solo artist, Dokken, Slaughter, Winger, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Dio, Gary Moore, Motorhead (extra fuck you to the HOF for not inducting them when Lemmy was alive despite having plenty of chances), Thin Lizzy, Quiet Riot, Lita Ford, The Michael Schenker Group, Whitesnake, and Rainbow to name some. Also, bout time The Cars, Journey, and Yes became nominees. The Sex Pistols were right. It is a piss stain.

BJ Penn: Please Stay Retired
BJ Penn: Please Stay Retired
October 7, 2016
By Ryan Porzl
On July 6, 2014, MMA Legend BJ Penn suffered a third straight loss to long time rival Frankie Edgar. Following this, Penn announced his retirement and acknowledged that he never should've came back after having been out for more than a year. It appeared as though one of the greatest careers in MMA History came to a close or so we thought. In January 2016, Penn announced he would return to competition and to say the least, it's a mistake. Sadly, Penn will likely go down as another fighter who stayed way too long and in this article, we'll take a look at why it's best for The Prodigy to stay retired.

Why Professional Wrestling Deserves More Respect In MMA
Why Professional Wrestling Deserves More Respect In MMA

Professional Wrestling has an interesting history when it comes to Mixed Martial Arts. However, because of wrestling's status as a red headed step child of entertainment as well as sport, it's largely ridiculed. In the MMA world, it's largely no different. When wrestling is brought up, MMA fans are quick to dismiss it as fake and mock it. Like a lot of people that aren't wrestling fans, they appear to be embarrassed by it. When CM Punk made his MMA and UFC debut, fighters and fans mocked him and wanted him to go back to the fake wrestling. However, professional wrestling and wrestlers deserve far more respect in the MMA world. In fact, professional wrestling and wrestlers are either responsible for legendary moments and/or careers. Some legendary fighters started as wrestlers while others did wrestling afterwards. In fact, wrestling has a deep history in Mixed Martial Arts.

Mr. Fuji: Wrestling's Most Underrated Manager
Mr. Fuji: Wrestling Most Underrated Manager
September 29, 2016
By Ryan Porzl
On August 28, 2016, the wrestling world lost one of it's all time greats in Mr. Fuji. During a 30 year career, Fuji enjoyed big success as a pro wrestler and later, a manager. However, to the hardcore wrestling fans, Fuji has been considered a bad manager and was voted "Worst Manager of the Year" eleven times by readers of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. While Fuji was never a great talker, there is more to being a great manager than having a silver tougue. In this article, I will honor a wrestling legend by explaining why he is wrestling's most underrated manager and what he did bring to the table.

Fedor Emelianenko entrance theme
Happy 40th birthday to one of MMA's all time greats: "The Last Emperor" Fedor Emelianenko. Also had one of the greatest theme songs in Mixed Martial Arts history.
