Also, happy 20th Anniversary to one of the greatest games of all time: Banjo-Kazooie. Hopefully Rare will fucking get their act together and make a new one someday. Anyway, I think most will agree that song should be played if you need a pick me up. It makes you happy.
A blog about my interests. Namely wrestling and MMA along with other stuff like video games and music.

Live and Let Die Opening Title Sequence
Happy 45th Anniversary to the James Bond movie Live & Let Die. The first Bond to feature Roger Moore as 007, Jane Seymour in one of her early roles as Bond girl Solitaire, and the underrated Yaphet Kotto as the first black Bond main villain Dr. Kananga. The theme by Paul McCartney & Wings is the first Bond song to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

With the UFC about to celebrate it's 25th Anniversary, it's obvious they've been around for a long time which means thousands of fighters have fought in it's octagon. However, many fighters never fought there and in some cases, some of those fighters were sometimes a win or successful contract negotiation away from going to the UFC but it didn't happen. Here now is a look at some well known and/or legendary fighters who were on the verge of going to the UFC before it went up in smoke.

Note that at the time I release these, the full card of certain events have not been released so there may be other fights I would recommend but aren't announced until after I complete this. Also, card subject to change.

Who would've thought an adventure game starring a honey bear with his red bird friend in his backpack as they venture to many worlds to stop an evil witch while collecting music notes and jigsaw puzzle pieces would become one of the greatest video games of all time? To Rare's credit, they did when they launched Banjo-Kazooie on June 29, 1998 on the Nintendo 64. To celebrate the upcoming 20th anniversary to one of video game's great masterpieces, we'll take a look at the original game as well as the history leading up to it, and the aftermath as the game's success would spawn a series.
