Happy 30th Anniversary to Europe's most famous album: The Final Countdown. Selling over 7 million copies, the album launched the Swedish band into the mainstream with singles like The Final Countdown, Rock The Night, Love Chaser, Carrie, and Cherokee.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the official beginning of Guns N' Roses' Use Your Illusion Tour. I say official because they played at Rock in Rio II and some warm up shows. The tour ran eight legs and was one of the longest in history as it went 26 months eventually concluding on July 17, 1993 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The tour featured many big and infamous GNR moments including two riots on July 2, 1991 and August 8, 1992 but it also featured the band performing at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium on April 20, 1992. The tour was the first for keyboardist Dizzy Reed as an official member and drummer Matt Sorum. It also featured a lineup change with rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin who quit the band on November 7, 1991 and was replaced by Gilby Clarke though Stradlin returned for five shows to fill in for an injured Clarke. Until this year, the tour would be the final one for Slash and Duff McKagan who eventually left the band in 1996 and 1997 respectively.

Saw Captain America: Civil War on Monday and it was another great movie from Marvel and Disney. Thought it was well written and the acting was good. The story was good and whether you agreed with either Cap or Iron Man, neither came off as villains. It was nice to see Spider-Man in an Avengers movie. It also left me looking forward to the two part Avengers: Infinity War coming in 2018 and 2019. The only knock on the movie was Crossbones, who I was looking forward to, was barely in it and may have gotten killed off early on (though it appears it may not be the case).
Blue Oyster Cult - (Don't Fear) The Reaper (Audio)
Happy 40th Anniversary to the Blue Oyster Cult album Agents of Fortune which featured one of the bands signature songs: (Don't Fear) The Reaper. The album went platinum with (Don't Fear) The Reaper shooting to #12 on the Billboard 100.

Sadly, today is the sixth anniversary of the death of the great Ronnie James Dio. Yeah, this is an obvious pick but still a classic.

Possible Names To Consider For The TNA Hall of Fame
Possible Names To Consider For The TNA Hall of Fame

With Slammiversary coming up in June, it means TNA will announce at least one new member for the TNA Hall of Fame. No doubt, many TNA fans have their picks so I decided to create a list of possible inductees who could likely be overlooked. Keep in mind, I'm only picking names for people who are near the end of their careers or are retired.

WWE Spring Cleaning

Well, it's that time again. Wrestlemania has come and gone which means new talent gets signed or called up from the main roster. With so many new talents coming to the WWE, the main roster is getting overloaded and the WWE is likely to cut wrestlers. Sadly, the WWE has plenty to choose from and I'll create of list of names on people who probably should be cut. Keep in mind, the people that I think should be cut are people you could cut today. As a result, I won't pick guys like Big Show and Kane who need to step aside as they can be used to put over new talent for the foreseeable future. I also won't pick someone like Mark Henry since he may be retiring and I won't pick someone who I don't feel is being wasted like Heath Slater and R-Truth mostly because the WWE needs prelim guys
