Through out Mixed Martial Arts' history, one thing that it's well known for are it's tournaments. Throughout the last 30 years, many of the top MMA promotions including UFC, PRIDE, Bellator, DREAM, RIZIN, etc. have held tournaments or grand prixes consisting of eight to sixteen participants and the winner receives prize money, a trophy belt, and/or a medal. A lot of these tournaments also consisted of many great fighters, well knowns, or legends. However, not everything goes to plan and over the years, there have been situations where a promotion wants a fighter or negotiates with a fighter, or even flat out announces them for the tournament but for whatever reason, the fighter doesn't participate. Here now are a list of fighters who were supposed to appear in certain tournaments but never did.

1986 was a big year for video games as it was that year where many famous franchises made their debuts and one of them was The Legend of Zelda. Released in early 1986, The Legend of Zelda told the story of an elf boy who journeyed through a kingdom known as Hyrule to save it while claiming a magical item known as the Triforce. Little did anyone know, the game would not only be a huge success but launch one of the most popular and beloved franchises in video game history. With the 35th Anniversary having come and gone in February 2021, we'll take a look at the game that started it all to celebrate the game and franchise's 35th Anniversary.

Hulk Hogan winning the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania IX was the right move

Hulk Hogan winning the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania IX was the right move

Originally, I wanted to wait for the 30th Anniversary of Wrestlemania IX before writing this but I'm not waiting another two years so I want to do it now and Wrestlemania 37 just came and went. Wrestlemania IX will forever go down as one of the most polarizing Wrestlemanias of all time as it does have it's supporters like me but it has plenty of critics. One of the main reasons people look down on this was the conclusion of the event which was to see Bret Hart defending the WWF Championship against Yokozuna but instead, it was Hulk Hogan who walked away from the event as a record setting five time WWF Champion. Many fans have hated the moment believing it never should've happened and how it was Hogan "stealing" Bret or Yoko's moment for his ego and how his act was stale. Well, I'm not one of them and not only is it one of my favorite Wrestlemania moments, I feel Hogan winning the WWF Championship was the right move. In this article, I'll explain why I feel Hogan walking away from Caesar's Palace on April 4, 1993 as WWF Champion was the best move.
